INGREDIENTS:
- 1 WHOLE WHEAT PITA BREAD OF CHOICE
- 1 CAN OF LIGHT TUNA IN WATER
- 1 TABLESPOON OF FINELY CHOPPED RED ONIONS
- 1 TABLESPOON OF FINELY DICED GREEN PEPPERS
- 1 SERVING OF FINELY DICED CELERY
- 1 TABLESPOON OF BALSAMIC VINEGAR
- 2 TABLESPOONS OF MAYONAISE
- 2 CLOVES OF MINCED OR PRESSED GARLIC
- 1 PINCH OF BLACK PEPPER
DIRECTIONS:
- IN A BOWL, MIX TUNA, DICED ONIONS, GREEN PEPPERS, AND CELERY.
- NEXT, ADD VINEGAR AND MAYO AND CONTINUE TO MIX.
- ADD BLACK PEPPER AND GARLIC AND THEN MIX THOUROUGHLY UNTIL DESIRED TEXTURE IS REACHED.
- CUT PITA IN HALF WITH SCISSORS THEN OPEN AND FILL EACH PITA HALF.
