INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 CHICKEN BREAST
- 1 TABLESPOON OF ITALIAN SEASONING
- 1 SERVINGS OF FETA CHEESE
- 1 DASH OF PEPPER
- 2 CLOVES OF GARLIC PRESSED OR MINCED
- 2 SERVINGS OF OLIVE OIL
- 1/4 CUP OF BALSAMIC VINEGAR
- 1 PITA BREAD
- 1/2 DICED ROMA TOMATO
- 1/2 SLICED RED ONION
- 1/2 SLICED RED BELL PEPPER
- 1 SERVING OF SHREDDED LETTUCE
- 1 SERVING OF GREEK TZATZIKI SAUCE
SUBSTITUTE WITH PLANT BASED ALTERNATIVES
TO MAKE VEGETARIAN!
DIRECTIONS:
- ADD SLICED CHICKEN BREAST, SLICED ONIONS AND SLICED RED BELL PEPPERS THEN 1/4 CUP BALSAMIC VINEGAR AND 2 SERVINGS OF OLIVE OIL TO FRYING PAN.
- NEXT, ADD 2 CLOVES OF PRESSED OR MINCED GARLIC FOLLOWED BY 1 TABLESPOON OF ITALIAN SEASONING,1 DASH OF PEPPER.
- COOK CHICKEN, ONIONS, AND RED BELL PEPPERS ON MEDIUM - MEDIUM HIGH UNTIL FULLY COOKED ABOUT 12-15 MINUTES. CAREFUL NOT TO BURN ONIONS AND PEPPERS. YOU MAY NEED TO REMOVE FROM HEAT BEFORE CHICKEN IS FULLY COOKED.
- HEAT PITA BREAD IN TOASTER OVEN ON LOW HEAT UNTIL WARM. SLICE IN 4 PIECES AFTER WARMING.
- ADD COOKED CHICKEN, ONIONS, RED BELL PEPPERS, PITA BREAD, DICED TOMATO, LETTUCE AND FETA CHEESE TO PLATE.
- SERVE WITH A SIDE TZATZIKI SAUCE AND ENJOY!
